There are three former D2 players on current rosters of the teams in the LCS.
Sergio Romo, Colorado Mesa, closer, San Francisco Giants. Romo pitched for the Mavericks in the 2005 season before being drafted by the Giants in the 28th round of the 2005 draft. He pitched only 4.1 innings in 2012 but has become the closer for the Giants in the post season.
Ryan Vogelsang, Kutzton, SP, San Francisco Giants. Vogelsang pitched for Kutztown from 1996-1998, was an All-American in 1998, and won 24 games for the Bears. Vogelsong was drafted in the 5th round in 1998.
Clay Rapada, Virginia State, LHP, New York Yankees. Pitched for the Trojans in 2002, was an undrafted free agent signed by the Cubs in 2002. MLB Debut 6/14/07. Left handed hitter specialist. He has been perfect in the post season for the Yankees.
